CONCORD, N.H. (WordNews.org) Jan. 19, 2012 — The New
Hampshire House of Representatives passed a bill 207 to 147 that shifts
state taxpayer funds away from abortion providers such as Planned
Parenthood.
Instead, under the measure, funds would go to public and private entities that provide comprehensive health care to women and that do not provide abortions.
The bill’s language was developed in part by the Alliance Defense Fund and the Susan B. Anthony List. It now heads to the state Senate.
